Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War

This year’s Show incorporates the nationwide celebrations for the 80th Anniversary end of the Second World War as its overall theme.

It is our 131st Annual Show since our Horticultural Society was founded in 1884. What an amazing achievement! We are very proud of our heritage and that we continue to hold this traditional Show, with exhibits housed in its large marquee, when so many societies have sadly been unable to continue. The Society has been passing horticultural knowledge and tradition from generation to generation for over 140 years. However, we are always looking to update what we offer and move with the times and welcome any suggestions and new ideas for the show in the future.
